1.Purpose is what makes people stay
People are excited about AI - but they also want to understand where they fit in. A clear sense of purpose is becoming one of the strongest reasons people choose to stay with their employer.
- 70% say their jobs are evolving because of AI, but only 23% are worried about losing their roles.
- When people feel connected to a bigger mission, they’re far more likely to stick around - 99% plan to stay for the next year, compared to just 53% who don’t ever feel that sense of purpose.
- Understanding how AI fits into company strategy helps employees see how their work matters.

2.Time saved should mean value added
AI is freeing up time - but not everyone knows how to make the most of it.
- On average, workers say they are saving two hours a day thanks to AI compared to one hour in 2024. But these gains are disconnected from what employers are experiencing in the market.
- Only 36% of workers feel confident they’re making a real impact with that time.
- Those who feel ready for the future are getting support to use their time wisely and are actively building new skills.
3.Trust is the key to making AI work for everyone
AI agents are becoming part of the team - and most people are on board. But trust doesn’t happen overnight.
- 55% expect AI agents to be part of their workflow within a year.
- Future-ready workers score 6.6/10 on trust in AI, while others score just 3.3/10.
- 41% of future-ready employees are helping shape how work is redesigned, compared to only 24% of their peers.
