The cloud is growing – and with it the requirement for suitable experts. Over 250,000 jobs are expected to be created in this environment in the next 3 years alone. As the necessary qualifications are not adequately available on the market, Microsoft and its partners have decided to train talent themselves. Pontoon is undertaking the recruitment of “on-premise” It experts and career changers, who will assume a new task with the participating Microsoft partners and be “upskilled” to become certified cloud consultants or cloud architects.
“We are pleased to have found a partner in Pontoon that acts both locally and internationally. With their in-depth and technology-driven approach we are able to find diverse talents for our Microsoft partner ecosystem and thereby support our partners in creating the innovative, future-proof business of tomorrow,” says Johanna Boneberger, Program Lead Workforce of the Future at Microsoft.
Benjamin Fleige, Sales Director at Pontoon, adds: “The partnership with Microsoft offers us the opportunity to play an active part in forming a genuine future market. Being part of such an innovative approach whilst lending the issue of upskilling practice-related experience is a fantastic task for our team”.
The programme begins in October, initially for the German market.
