Looking beyond diversity

Putting action behind diversity and inclusion means looking beyond checking boxes and claiming diversity spend. We work with suppliers to incorporate candidate diversity such as race, gender, ethnicity, veteran status, and educational backgrounds. To be truly inclusive, we help leading companies successfully manage inclusive cultures that create equal opportunities for diverse talent.

We partner with our customers to ensure they achieve their diversity and inclusion priorities by working with affiliate organisations that specialise in representing diverse talent communities.

Pontoon and She Matters partnered to organise a 10-week training program aimed at increasing the employability of female candidates while getting access to a new diverse and under-utilised talent pool for one of our customers.

Pontoon partnered with a diversity resourcing and inclusion consulting company – VERCIDA – to build our customers’ D&I strategies in Europe. We also utilise their site as a hiring channel to reach their intended candidate audience

Awareness Education

Diversity Committee

We have setup Pontoon’s Diversity Committee that works on company-wide DE&I strategy. It also provides Pontooners with an open and safe forum for sharing ideas and feedback.

Unconscious Bias Training

Our people actively participate in unconscious bias training, seminars that educate on systematic racism and have access to learning and development tools on how diversity impacts the work environment.

Open Dialogue

Our focus on creating an inclusive environment includes interactive sessions, listening tours, webinars, and small group sessions to encourage openness and safe discussions among peers.

We are proud to partner with Diversity Certified Suppliers who have demonstrated success in sourcing and recruiting diverse populations. Pontoon’s MSP programs manage over one billion dollars in annual diverse spend under management. This spend encompasses people of color, veterans and talent within the LGBTQ community.

By working with diversity suppliers, our customers achieve their diversity goals and benefit from higher levels of engagement, better rates, and quality of candidates. We have had great success in increasing supplier diversity for our customers.

As part of Supplier Diversity Advancement, we develop customised programs that maximise the supplier’s growth potential and increase their operational efficiencies. We created Supplier Diversity Roundtable as a forum for our diversity partners to grow their relationships with Pontoon.
